Pink

This year, my Christmas Cactus bloomed at the end of October. This Pink knitting happened at about the same time. Here are two additions to my Family Project, in Good Karma Farm Yarn merino and alpaca. It's a pleasure to knit, and the color is just girly enough!

  1. Love that pink! My Christmas Cactus has some buds, but no blooms yet. (When it blooms, though, it is exactly that color.) Happy November!

  2. My Christmas cactus was red ... and it usually bloomed in May ;) Yours is absolutely gorgeous and so are the mitts. A fun shade of pink!

  3. Mine is blooming too -- the same wonderful 'hot pink' as yours. It began around Canadian Thanksgiving (which is the second Sunday/Monday in October)...amazing! Love the yarn you found to match!

  4. I've two of those hot pink and whit Xmas cacti, and mine are in bloom right now too. They must be popular, but I'm not surprised, as they are so pretty.

Love the hand warmers too. Very pretty shade of pink, and definitely girly enough. :)

  5. Thanks for the lovely flower picks, Jane. I have to remember to look out the back windows for the Christmas Cactus. Inside, the African Violets are blooming. Sweet life.
